YouTube: Sharing Revenue with Content Creators

YouTube founder Chad Hurley has announced that in the future, the site will share revenue with those who create and upload videos to the site. His reason for waiting:
“…he says he did not do that at first because he wanted to build a community of people who wanted to be there to be there and who would not just leave to the next best offer.”
