The Lifecycle of iPhone Ownership
Jun 25th, 2007 by Dan Blank
The week of Apple’s launch of the iPhone has finally arrived. Whether it is a hit or a flop, I have a feeling that the following illustrations will pretty much cover our relationship with the iPhone over the next 12 months:

Now that’s comedy! I know I’ll be getting one. I sure hope the keyboard isn’t that bad though
Haha. With all the features it has, I wonder how often iPhones will actually be used as phones.
Heath: Thanks! I am sure there will be a learning curve on that keyboard. It will be interesting if it can be used as a business device for those who do a lot of mobile email.
Elliot: Good point. Wasn’t Apple the one who always promoted products that had a singular focus?
Dan,
That was super cool. I’m gonna link to it.
Cheers!

As with all technology …. I’ll wait a few months, let them work out the inevitable technological kinks, and then buy it for a fraction of the initial price.
But seriously, how cool does it look?!
Elizabeth - I know, I think that people will be staring at those who are using an iPhone on the street, at least for the first month.
Welcome to the iSociety. We live in iHomes, drive iMobiles, watch iTV, have iBabies and hang out with our iFriends after working at our iJobs. Soon we will eat iFood. Life is just way too much iFun.
Loved the slide show, especially the one on cognitive dissonance. Definitely can relate to the difficulty in using little keyboards. Who knew that “being all thumbs” would someday be a good thing? gerald
Lianna - sounds like some version of pig-latin!
Gerald - agreed - thanks!
haha, this is really funny and I’m so much a part of this cycle
