How to Take a Vacation from Blogging, and Grow Traffic in the Process

J.D. Roth shares his process to ensure his blog kept running, even while he was on vacation:

“In July, I spent three weeks traveling to London, Dublin, and New York. During that time, my blog didn’t lose traffic. In fact, it gained readers. Here’s how I did it.”

He accomplished this by spending the month prior to vacation lining up guest bloggers, even ensuring that he had posts setup for the week of his return, so that he didn’t feel pressured once he arrive back.

In all, a brilliant example of how serious bloggers care for their community, and how they are rewarded by a growing audience.
