You are right on. Online video IS growing in popularity, and as I see it, the way that publications will have to move towards more and more in the challenge to monetize in this new world where print is rapidly going by the boards. You are on the right path - properties will need video, yes. This video can be produced in house by publications, and, hire professional content publishers as well, like us. Your next step is to find out how to monetize the content - how to insert ads, and possibly syndicate it to other sites....its a numbers game....the more your video (with ads inside) appears, the more money you will make.<br>We are working on our model, which will be sort of a Video Associated Press - video content publishers who produce new and fresh content on every subject, especially niche stuff - to syndicate out. Some of it will be monetized by us, too - we control the advertising (together with ad networks), so its incredibly versatile! We have hand fulls of publishers coming to us each month, asking if we can do just this - produce stories on video, for their websites, in lieu of printed stories that are an extension of their print. We are a film and video production company, and basically see ourselves as our own "studio" now - we dont have to wait 2 years to produce a new TV show, or to release a new movie. We make it for the web.....and the advertisers are there. So we can be artists, and do the work we want to do, but also act as a commercial advertising company. Its pretty amazing, the potential, and the future!
